    Abstract
This project report presents a comprehensive study of the development and implementation of an inventory management system for Mzuri Plastics Limited. The project aimed to address the challenges faced by the company in managing its inventory effectively and efficiently. The main objective was to design and implement a robust system that would streamline inventory tracking, improve stock management, and enhance overall operational efficiency. The project began with a thorough analysis of the company's existing inventory management processes, which revealed various issues such as difficulties in locating and identifying stocks, improper utilization of materials, and lack of a centralized system. The identified problem was the manual and cumbersome nature of the inventory management process, leading to inefficiencies, increased costs, and customer dissatisfaction. To address these challenges, the project employed a systematic research methodology and design approach. I gathered requirements through interviews and observations with the company's staff, including three staff members responsible for order requests and the manager who approves the orders. The information gathered guided the selection of appropriate tools and technologies to develop the system. The developed inventory management system incorporated several key functions to tackle the identified problem. These included real-time stock tracking, automated stock level notifications, and user access control to ensure data security and integrity. By implementing a two-factor authentication method, the system ensured enhanced security for inventory data. Overall, this project's findings contribute to the improvement of operational efficiency in inventory management for businesses in Mzuri Plastic Limited.
